Welcome to School Athletics!

Our students learn much more than physical skills through their participation in athletics. The collaborative experience of pursuing and attaining a common goal in athletics is unique, as it is combined with interscholastic competition. We are proud of our winning tradition.

Through this experience, our students are able to develop courage as they take risks, strength while displaying finesse, competitive intensity while exhibiting generosity of spirit, and mental as well as physical endurance.

Mr. Siyanand Pantjali, H.O.D. Phy. Edu.

Balanced Diet

Nutrients that we obtain through food have vital effects on Physical growth and development maintenance of normal body function, physical activity, and health. Requirements for essential nutrients vary with age, gender, physiological status, and physical activity. Dietary intakes lower or higher than the body requirements can lead to undernutrition {deficiency diseases} or overnutrition {diseases or affuence} respectively. The nutrients must be obtained through a judicious choice and combination of a variety of foodstuffs from different food groups.

Carbohydrates + Fats = energy giving food

Proteins = help in the growth and repair of the body from various diseases

Vitamins and Minerals = protect our body from various diseases

Dietary fibers = help to get rid of undigested food

Water = helps us to get rid of liquid wastes [Sweat and Urine], water also helps to absorb the dissolved nutrients.
